As the oldest class in Key Stage 3, Year 9 are looking forward to a great year.
They have been together for a long time and say they feel not just like a group but a family.  This year they will be working hard for their Checkpoint exams in English, Maths and Science which they will sit in May.  We are already looking forward to our end of year trip to Vienna.

 

 

Alin

The story so far says how a child full of potential and peculiar aura has been born in Bucharest, Romania.

At the moment he is a motivated and talented guitarist, photographer and dancer.

In the future his potential will be revealed in one of the most peculiar ways.

The story so far...

I was born in Peru on the 25th of December. I lived in Slovakia, France, Spain and came to Romania in 2009

At the moment...

I live in Bucharest, Romania. I like playing computer games, strategy games and reading.

In the future...

I want to be a biologist and an artist.

The story so far...

My name is Ioana and I’m 13 years old.  I’ve been in this school for 9 years and I’m enjoying it. 

At the moment...

Year 9 is a lot harder but if I keep trying I know I will get better

In the future...

I would like to be a photographer.

The story so far...

Hi, I’m Andrei and I’m 13 years old.  I have no brothers or sisters just a pet.  This is my third year at the school and I enjoy it here.

At the moment...

I hope I get good grades as I have done so far.

In the future...

I don’t really know what I want to be.

I was born in France and came to live in Romania when i was small. I have been in IBSB since yr 1.

At the moment...

I like playing computer games a lot.  School is OK.

In the future...

Whatever will be will be.

The story so far...

My name is Marko and I am from Serbia.  I have been at IBSB for 5 years.

At the moment...

I like lil’wayne and playing basketball.

In the future...

I hope to go and study in America.  I would like to be a basketball player.  Otherwise I will be the director of the New York Times.

 

Angeliki

The story so far...

I was born in Greece in 1998 and i am the eldest of my sisters. I went to BSB from year 2 to year 5 and i have been at IBSB from year 6 till now, my best friend is Adina for 4 years and forever.

At the moment...

I’m trying to be as good as possible at school because next year i will take my IGCSE’s, but it’s hard because i have all my friend’s around me everyday!  I adore music, going to parties and living my life, to the fullest.

In the future...

I want to be a lawyer. I just want to be happy and succeed in life.

The story so far

When I first came to this school I thought I was going to be an outcast but actually everybody is very nice.  I have enjoyed my time so far.

At the moment

I like being here because everyone is very supportive.

In the future...

I hope I’m going to succeed in my future and go to a great university.

 

Yagmur

The story so far...

I was born in Turkey on the 25th of January 1998. I have been in IBSB since year 1.  Yes pretty boring, I know. I used to be the youngest child in my family but then along came my brother.

At the moment...

I seem pretty weird and to me being weird is pretty awesome. I have had the same best friend for 4 years now and we’re inseperable. I have a cat and 2 brothers. I do everything, literally, everything with, Andreea, my best friend. Us being so different brings us closer. I love art, photography, and basically i enjoy doing anything.

In the future...

I don’t know yet what I want to do with my life, but I want to keep my options open, just in case.

The story so far...

Hey, my name is Andreea and I’m from Romania.  This is my forth year in IBSB and I like it here.

At the moment....

I like spending time with my friends. I have no dogs or cats, but i do have a parrot.

In the future...

In the future I want to be a doctor, so i can help people because i care.

 

Loic

The story so far...

I was born in France and i have been here since 1 year.
It is really fun and i hope i don’t leave too early.

At the moment...

I like playing computer games but i prefer swimming.
I swim for the national team of Romania.

In the future...

I would like to be a swimmer and if i can’t i would like to be a doctor.

 

Steve

The story so far...

So far I have been to 2 schools, in Dubai and Romania.  I was born in Dubai but I am Indian.  I left when I was 8 years old.

At the moment...

I have a brother who is in Year 6 and I in Year 9.  My hobbies are singing, sports and having fun with my friends.

In the future...

I want to be a singer, guitarist, business manager and architect.

 

Zoe

The story so far...

My name is Zoe and I am 13.   I don’t have any brothers or sisters but I have a dog.  I have been at this school for 2 years and I like it a lot here.

At the moment...

I like maths, science and art.  My hope for the year is to do well in school and get great grades in the Checkpoint exams.

In the future...

I’m going to be a doctor I’m sure of it.

 

Vladimir

The story so far...

Hey, my name is Vladimir. I come from Craiova, the coolest town ever and i went through lots of schools.

At the moment...

Now you find me here on a small and assuming scale at IBSB doing some stuff for my art IGCSE.  I like hanging out outside and doing graffiti and skating

In the future...

I am thinking of being an architect or car designer. I would like to live somewhere like in Australia or Cuba.

 

Adina

At the moment...

I am 14 years old and I live in Bucharest, Romania. I don’t have any brothers or sisters and i don’t want any.

I used to learn at Scoala nr. 17 Pia Bratianu, from year 1 to year 4.  I came here in year 9 until now and more years to come. I was born in Bucharest, Romania.  My best friend is Angeliki for 4 years and forever.
