At a more informal level...


In the junior school they have an easy life sitting on the carpet and having fun with French and German words, but this will change as soon as they come into the senior school , Lady Grammar waits them in there as a careful reminder of the fact that languages are, after all, very mathematical.

Maria loves Spanish! Ianis is not very sure since he is struggling to pronounce the word ‘worm’. Kira(who is not in the picture) is looking forward to coming into the senior school next year!

There may be different languages, but the teaching methods can be very similar. Jessi and Nishant seem to have fun playing with French words, but Spanish verbs give Robert a hard time, he looks really focused, doesn’t he?

Vicky definitely agrees on the fact that the Spanish AS is hard! Her fingers and wrists hurt sometimes because of the amount of grammar exercises and essays she as to write. She gets really stressed whenever she thinks of the oral exam in June, but she is also aware of the fact that speaking various languages will be of great help in her future career. The Italian AS is as difficult, but Barbara looks more relaxed, doesn’t she? She is another student in our school who speaks several languages.
