"A Student Council is a representative structure for students only, through which they can become involved in the affairs of the school, working in partnership with school management, staff and parents for the benefit of the school and its students".
Last year we have reorganized the Student Council, in order to make the students’ voice heard and to contribute to our school's development. We got more involved into the school and we successfully managed a few extra-curricular events. This year, we will try to be even more involved and do our best to better our school.
We have divided the Student Council into Junior- and Senior Student Council and we meet once a half term. Separate meetings are conducted to discuss the most important aspects and issues or to organize different (extra) curricular activities.
The Junior School has elected two representatives from each year group. In the Senior School, the Student Council is formed by Class Representatives and Prefects. Every member of the Student Council has specific roles and responsibilities.
We have great plans for this academic year. We will continue to organize extra-curricular events. We intend to have a Winter Ball to replace the Halloween party (as this year Halloween is right in the middle of our half term break), the Valentine’s Day party, themed non-uniform days, fund raisings for our charities, mother’s day, children’s day, competitions sa.
Throughout the school, the Student Council welcomes the student’s ideas.
