Head Prefect - Academic Prefect: Alex, Year 13
It is an honour for me to have been chosen as Head Prefect, for I realize the responsibilities that accompany this role and I’m grateful for this opportunity to represent our school this academic year. As Head Prefect, I am aware of the role bestowed upon me as the embodiment of the school ethos and I will use all my abilities to further extend this ideology into the hearts and minds of every student at IBSB. I will also directly help coordinate the duties of the other prefects to ensure they are carried out thoroughly and in an efficient manner. As Head Prefect, I will also act as an intermediary between students and teachers, for it is my duty to listen to the ideas of any party and to use them as a basis for improvement in the school community. I look forward to facing the challenges that lie ahead as Head Prefect of IBSB.
   
Assistant Head Prefect - Social Events Prefect: Andrei, Year 13
Hi, my name is Andrei. I am this year's Social Events Prefect, alongside Catrinel. We will be helping to organise all of the school parties and events. I am happy to be part of the Prefect body, and I hope to be a valuable asset during the course of the year.
   
Art Prefect: Mara, Year 13

Hello, my name is Mara and I am this year's Art Prefect. I am looking forward to this challenge as well as editing the Year Book this year.
   

Hallway Prefect: Robert, Year 13
My name is Robert and I am currently in Year 13, my last year here at IBSB. This year I am the Hallway Prefect, which means I am responsible for making sure the go to class quietly and in an orderly fashion. Being a Prefect involves a great deal of responsibility and good teamwork skills, in order to assist the teachers in running the school effectively. I will do my best this year to fulfil my obligations as a role model Prefect for other students at IBSB.  
   
Class Prefect: Alina, Year 13
My name is Alina and I’m from Romania. It’s my 12th year at IBSB and my second year as a Prefect. I’m looking forward to the rest of this academic year as a Prefect and to editing the Year Book this year.
   
Mathematics Prefect: Raluca, Year 13

Hello, my name is Raluca and this is my third year as an IBSB prefect. Last year I had the opportunity to be the Head Prefect of our school and this year I am the Maths Prefect. I'm looking forward to overcoming any obstacles in my duty as a Prefect.
 
Sports Prefect: Mihai, Year 13

I aim to help pupils within the IBSB community as best I can this year while maintaining a good academic record and exemplary behaviour. My speciality is sports, which basically means getting involved in every sport event that is related or organised by the school. 
   
TIV Prefect: Alexandra, Year 12
Hello, my name is Alexandra. I am a student in Year 12, the editor of TIV, T&C Club Co-ordinator, and now a School Prefect. I’ve been a Prefect for the past 2 years and as such have been a crucial contributor to the healthy running of student life here on campus, starting several initiatives on my own to improve life in and around the school. I hope that this will continue to be the case in the year ahead. 
   
Dining Hall Prefect: Mihai, Year 12

My name is Mihai and I am the lunch hall prefect. I intend to do my best to maintain a good sense of order during the lunch breaks and to during the school year and to do my best to be a good role model.
   
Pastoral Care Prefect: Lana, Year 12

My name is Lana and I’m currently in Year 12, and this is my sixth year at IBSB. I have dual nationality, being both Lebanese and British, having previously lived in England. I'm fluent in Arabic, English and Romanian. This is the second year in which I have been elected to be a prefect. I enjoy swimming, listening to music and going out with my friends. I am proud to have the chance to represent this school and hope to be able to help the schools at the school at the Pastoral Care Prefect this year.   
   
Eco Prefect: Teresa, Year 11

Hello, my name is Teresa and I am Portuguese. This is my second year at IBSB and my first year as a prefect. I was designated the Eco Prefect; I am very pleased I have been given this opportunity and I look forward to all the challenges that we will tackle during the year.
   
Social Events Prefect: Catrinel, Year 11

Hello, my name is Catrinel and this is my third year as an IBSB prefect. I am incredibly excited for this year as, alongside Andrei, I am one of the two Social Events Prefects. We have a packed social calendar this year; including the third annual Winter Ball, so make sure you have your gala wear ready! I would like to wish all my fellow prefects and colleagues a successful and fun year.
   
Uniform Prefect: Sonia, Year 11

Hey, my name is Sonia and this is my second year as a Prefect. I’m looking forward to another successful academic year. I will take care of the new uniform this year, as well as coordinate the Buddy System Pet.
   
Science and Utilities Prefect: David, Year 11
My name is David and I am the Science Prefect. I have been in this school since Year 8 and was a Prefect in Years 10 and 11. I am very interested in Particle Physics and Metaphysics, so I am very happy to be the Science Prefect this year. This year I plan to help the Science Department and whole school while leading Transilvania to victory.
