In the Art Club, students will be encouraged to use their creativity, imagination, and inspiration to express themselves through works of art. They will learn to use the elements of design to create masterpieces. At the end of the 1st semester an art evening will be held where students may exhibit their work.
Through the physical practice, the student of Aikido comes to understand the mental and spiritual aspects of Aikido, elements of philosophy, and dynamics, improve his health and develop self-confidence.
Children will make small model buildings out of recycled paper, card, plastics etc. This course will teach children to be creative and develop the ability to handle and recognize different materials, dealing with detailed craft. The aim of this course is to eventually build a miniature model of the school using these recycled materials.
This is a fun course for boys and girls who love to move!
The focus is on teaching the basics of ballet, self-control and movements while helping develop the students’ abilities to concentrate, work together and understand rhythm and movement.
Students will learn the basic skills and strategies to play with other students. Advanced players will further develop their strategies and techniques. These classes are engaging and taught in small groups of up to 12 students.
Come and get your hands on a guitar. We will experiment with the instrument, making noise, finding notes, and learning some chords. This activity is for students who range in experience from never having touched a guitar to someone who may own a guitar and just needs a kick start to begin making music. The only requirement is enthusiasm! See you there!
Students act out stories and are encouraged to bring in their favourite story books to share with the group. Later in the year students will begin to create their own simple stories.
The emphasis in this course is on control and self-defence. Karate is appropriate for all ages and genders, where combat is replaced with competition. Judo is a fun sport for children. Besides teaching them self defence and discipline, it also helps with coordination and balance. Commitment can range from casual, easygoing recreation, to informal competition, and eventually leading to the exciting and challenging world of competition.
This activity is for students who enjoy the sport of swimming. Beginners will have the opportunity to learn basic strokes such as the breast stroke, front crawl, and back stroke. More advanced swimmers may have opportunities to engage in competitive swimming.

Children will participate (in group or pairs) in board games, dominos. This is a good way to build up their skills beginning with easier games and progressing to more complicated games.
Come along and complete against each other using the school networked games. It’s a great way to enjoy the hour after school.
This club will provide help with homework and projects. It is especially for children who need extra clarification or support due to a language barrier at home.
Students already enrolled with this club will follow the same schedule. New students must check the available times.
Design and build motorized machines, catapults, pyramids, demolition derby cars, truss and suspension bridges, buildings, and other constructions. Explore concepts in physics, mechanical engineering, structural engineering, and architecture while playing with your favourite creations.
We are currently having a rip-roaring time in our drama club, playing games and putting together a show.We are currently rather excited about auditioning for our favoured roles and at the thought of performing to the whole school and our parents in the near future.
The English Club is concerned with clarity and precision, but it also encourages individuality of thought, perception and expression. English club is divided into 3 main areas:
1. Speaking and listening
2. Reading
3. Writing – incorporating spelling, grammar and handwriting.
English is taught everyday throughout the school. Children are heard read every day and great emphasis is put on the teaching of reading and instilling a love of books from an early age.
The Jewelry Making Club was created to introduce students to the art of jewellery making. This club gives students a better understanding of entrepreneurship.
Your kids will discover a whole new world at Animals Club. The club is a great way to feed your kids fascination of animals, learn facts, explore new ideas, develop an appreciation for animals and develop their ability to apply knowledge through our range of informal activities.
This is an introductory class for the German language and culture. It is for absolute beginners or those who have had some German before and would like to restart at the very beginning. The course involves practicing and developing listening, speaking, reading and writing skills.
Maths Games Club is a Year 1 and Year 2 club where children can come and play fun maths games. The club meets every Wednesday at 15.00pm until 15:50pm. Miss. Andreea Busa will support the children whilst playing, and the aim of the club is promote the idea that maths can be fun whilst at the same time learning number facts. Why not come and join us ?
The Photography Club combines photography with leadership development. Students in the club work on perfecting the photography skills learned in the classroom or try some of the unique and more challenging aspects of photography such as hand colouring prints, experimenting with infrared film and digital photography.
The aim of the club is to write and produce the children’s school newspaper. The children take it in turns to fulfil the different roles within newspaper production: editor, reporters, feature writers, photography, proof reading, etc.
Our After-School Science Clubs offer students a fun and enriching science experience one day a week. Club activities are designed to enhance topics or skills that students are learning in school.
Team Games Club is all about trying different games and taking part! If you enjoy playing outside with friends then try this club!
Every week Mr Mullan will present a new issue or problem to encourage debate and discussion. Children will increase in confidence and improve their speaking skills.
Every week Mr Georgescu takes our boys to work on their football skills to ensure we continue to win inter school tournaments.
