School Life

IBSB can offer your children more than just a strong academic programme with good exam results; we also offer our students a happy learning environment in which they feel a part of the community, secure in the knowledge that they are supported and positively encouraged, confident in their abilities, so that they are both eager and willing to actively participate in the process of learning. In order to create this environment IBSB has taken the time to organise a strong support system through the establishment of a carefully designed Pastoral Care System that works in conjunction with the CAS Programme, Student Council, and School Prefect System.

Students are also encouraged to participate in the rich extracurricular programme available, through the provision of day and  residential school trips, after school clubs, theme days, a Gifted and Talented programme, school theatrical productions, music recitals, art exhibitions, and the numerous and extensive range of projects and activities that occur throughout the year across the Key Stages, in many cases involving the participation of the parents and members of the extended community, including a rapidly growing number of school and charity links, to further develop our children on both a social and emotional level.
