IBSB Head Boy Alex received word this week that following his initial application and interview, he has received a conditional offer into Homerton College (http://www.homerton.cam.ac.uk/). Alex has been at IBSB since 2000 and is our first graduate to have gone through the IBSB education system since the school first opened, and as such is leading the way for future generations of IBSB students.

When asked of his future intentions, Alex said that he would like to focus his future undergraduate studies on the joint fields on Sociology and Psychology, with a mind to continuing on to do a Master’s in business. Congratulations on gaining your acceptance Vlad, the reward is well deserved. The Year 13 graduation trip to Paris this year is certainly going to be a trip to remember.

Thank you also to the staff who supported Alex in his studies, and to Head of Humanities Lucy Crane and UCAS Applications and Post 16 Coordinator Neill Lee in assisting Alex in his application process.

We would like to wish all our Year 13 students the very best in their final A Level exams and university applications- all early indications are that this is going to be the best graduation year yet.
