Saturday Classes

 

As we approach the Autumn and Summer Cambridge exam sessions, our senior students in Years 10-13 are offered the opportunity to come to school for extra classes to help prepare for their IGCSE and A Level exams, Our teachers are extremely dedicated and committed to ensuring that our students gain the best exam results possible and as such willingly give up their free time to offer additional revision lessons for those students preparing for their Cambridge International Exams.

This Saturday exam preparation programme has proven to be a great success over the past 5 years, enabling many of our students to gain an A-A* average in both their IGCSE and A Level exams, which in turn has enabled them to apply to attend the top universities around the world.

This is a real testimony to the commitment of both our students and teachers to the pursuit of academic excellence at IBSB and to the enthusiasm of both the teachers and the students who study here; after all, we cannot physically force the students out of bed and into school on a Saturday morning - they have to arrive willingly, as they do... this may in part be helped by the fact that Saturday revision sessions are non-uniform mornings!
